How did you learn CW?

I am using LCWO.net  I'm finding it very hard to retain it , so I've been staying at day2 and just doing it once maybe twice a day. But it's hard to find time with a full time job and family.

I've had many people tell me to use software by G4FON.  I haven't dove fully into it yet but I'm going to give it a try soon!

Just tried it and yes it does run on Linux. I've been using Andy's Ham Radio Linux for the last year or so. Now that I'm not in IT anymore there's no more dependance on Microsoft solutions or VPN's(which always gave me the most trouble.

Lots of nice options like adding QRM.

@n1ebc, I really like the way CWOps works through the alphabet and into words and phrases. The other programs are good, too. removed link

I would recommend working at this at least 30 minutes a day. Maybe 15 before dinner and then 15 after.

i have a mindless day job where I finish cabinets.  I have taken this course from youtube ripped it down to mp3  play it on my cellphone while I listen through one bluetooth earphone.  There is a lot of repetition which i need. if anyone would like the mp3's I can put them on google drive.
